Sarah and Jon's Wedding
As a wedding photographer, I feel fortunate to be able to travel all over New England to document the wedding celebrations of many different couples. Traveling often gives me an opportunity to discover places I've never seen before, like the West Mountain Inn in Arlington, VT, the Mountain Top Inn in Chittenden, VT or the Castle in The Clouds in New Hampshire. Visiting a new place is exciting and leads to great creativity.As much as I love to explore, I also love to revisit places I'm familiar with. Such was the case while photographing Sarah and Jon's wedding in Keene, New Hampshire. Almost all of the vendors and businesses they selected to be a part of their day are local.We began the day at the newly redesigned The Lane hotel, where I was lucky to find incredibly perfect light and beautiful spaces for photos. Since Sarah and Jon held their ceremony at St. Bernard's church, which, is also located in downtown Keene, we decided it would be fun to walk from The Lane to the church. Sarah and her bridesmaids had a blast, and passersby cheered them on.Sarah wore a gorgeous gown designed by Pamela from Pamela Moore Bridals. Pamela also designed all the bridesmaid dresses, and incidentally, she designed Sarah's prom dress a few years back.I had the pleasure to return to Stonewall Farm for another beautiful late afternoon of portraits and a great reception to end the day.Although Sarah and Jon's wedding was a few months back, I still smile every time I think about how special their day was. Sarah and Jon are two of the nicest people I've ever met. Sarah was constantly asking me how I was doing throughout the day, and was always thinking about everybody else but herself. They really are a beautiful couple with equally beautiful hearts.

It was so much fun to have been able to photograph Sara in the newly redesigned Lane Hotel in downtown Keene.
