Nicole and Steve's Wedding at The Shattuck Golf Club in Jaffrey, New Hampshire

What an amazing wedding day Nicole and Steve had! Nicole and her bridesmaids began getting ready at the newly renovated Lane Hotel in downtown Keene, New Hampshire. The Lane is becoming one of my favorite places to photograph the earlier part of the day. There is gorgeous natural light and a great variety of backgrounds to work with. Nicole and the girls couldn't have been more excited for the day to begin, and their anticipation made for very nice candid moments to capture.Over at Steve's home in Swanzey, the Pro brothers and their dad spent their getting ready time singing and playing music. It was so much fun to watch them interact and make music together. It's something that is clearly a big part of their lives.At the Shattuck Golf Club in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, Nicole and Steve's wedding ceremony was perfect. The girls arrived in two cool antique cars, and the weather could not have been better for a summer wedding. Their excitement to marry one another was evident in their body language and smiles as they exchanged wedding bands and said their vows. It was a very sweet and emotional ceremony.For the portraits, I was so pleased with the many opportunities for beautiful photography the Shattuck offered in just one small area. We were able to capture photos with Mt. Monadnock as a backdrop and just a few hundred feet away from the mountain view there was a beautiful tree and fence that gave their portraits a rustic and elegant feel.If I were to judge by the linens, Nicole's stunning gown and the beautiful bridesmaids' dresses, I'd say Nicole loves lace. The day was so elegantly styled with very subtle pops of color and a lot of beautiful touches of ivory lace. Big props to Liz Roloff who coordinated Nicole and Steve's event as well as Ronna Gendron who crafted the cake and Naturally Elegant Designs who provided the florals. They all did a spectacular job in helping Nicole and Steve's vision for their day come to life.Nicole and Steve's family and friends were such a lively group, and it was a sincere pleasure to be able to photograph such a wonderful group of people on their wedding day.

I also really liked the subtle pops of color in the bridesmaid's dresses as well as the bouquet.

Steve and his groomsmen got ready at Steve and Nicole's home. In the time they waited to leave for the Shattuck, they played instruments and sang together. It was so fun!

We walked just a few feet in the opposite direction and there was a complete change of scenery.

I loved the country feel that fence gave to the scene.

The ballroom was so elegant styled with soft-colored arrangements and full of lace that Nicole carefully chose herself.
