Country Outdoor Wedding – Gilsum, NH
Knowing you only do this once, Martha & Ryan made sure their country outdoor wedding in their hometown of Gilsum, NH was a day very special to them. The couple wanted their celebration to be outside in a field and when their neighbor offered to let them use their huge field for their big day, they couldn’t say no! With the location picked out, the real work had just begun as a bridge needed to be built across a stream to get to the ceremony. Fortunately, Ryan owns a construction company to complete the job.Their wedding was full of so much personality. The bride made her entrance in a vintage truck driven by her father, who then walked her down the aisle. She carried a bouquet of flowers that she grew and arranged herself. Their dog, Axe, was the ring bearer and was also included in their family portraits. A bagpiper played “Amazing Grace.” And, the evening ended with a professional fireworks display for all the guests. Knowing that Ryan proposed to Martha during the finale of a fireworks show made this moment all the more special.Martha & Ryan put so much of themselves into their day and I was honored to be the photographer of this very cool and very much in love couple.
