Melanie and Stephen were married at one of my favorite wedding destinations - The Mountain Top Inn & Resort in Chittendon, VT. Their winter themed wedding was a perfect fit for their day considering they first met on a ski trip with friends in 2008. I've photographed many weddings at The Mountain Top Inn and they recently added a new Barn space where the couple had their ceremony upstairs and the reception downstairs. We planned an intimate first look at the Jewel House on top of the hill and then photographed the couple with the breathtaking mountain backdrop and clear blue skies.  The night concluded with an awesome band - Brian Kirk and the Jerks who drove all the way  up from Jersey and Pennsylvania to be a part of their day.
