Wading In | Jax's Senior Portraits

Jax's senior model sessions were a blast to photograph. She's intelligent, creative, fun, and unafraid to wade in. She also brought along her adorable puppy. I always love to include dogs in portraits. Her idea was to get covered in paint for her studio shoot, and I was happy to oblige. We set up a canvas and got to work spattering colored paint all over the place and shooting portraits as we went. I love it when my clients raise the bar and bring their creative vision to the shoot. It makes collaborating that much more rewarding. Jax is a busy young woman. While in school, she was the National Art Honor Society President a member of the Junior Lion's Club and the Interact Rotary Club, and she tutored and babysat in her spare time. At the time of her session, she decided between Dartmouth, Brown/RISD, Wesleyan, and Skidmore. She wants to enter premed as a biochemistry major with an art minor. She dreams of becoming an anesthesiologist. Although she's excited about the future, she will miss the close friends she's made so far in life.
